Melanie Clemmons is a Dallas-based new media artist whose practice spans video, installation, net art, digital fabrication, extended reality, and live visual performance. Her work examines internet culture, speculative futures, digital ethics, artificial intelligence, and the ways networked technologies shape identity, behavior, and human connection. Clemmons has exhibited internationally at the Whitney Museum of American Art, HeK in Basel, the Nasher Sculpture Center, AURORA, Women & Their Work, and digital art venues throughout the United States and Europe. She is an Associate Professor of Art in Digital/Hybrid Media at Southern Methodist University and is represented by Liliana Bloch Gallery
