“I’m creating the narrative in order to put the piece together.”

— Vince Jones

Vince Jones is a Dallas-based contemporary artist known for sculptures, assemblages, collages, and installations made from found and discarded materials. Salvaging objects from dumpsters, thrift stores, and other overlooked places, Jones transforms the remnants of everyday American life into works that are playful, poetic, and formally precise. His practice draws from Post-Minimalism and assemblage while exploring movement, memory, survival, and the shifting value of familiar objects. Jones has exhibited at the Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, McKinney Avenue Contemporary, and galleries throughout Dallas. He lives and works in Dallas and is represented by Liliana Bloch Gallery.
