Jaime Acker is a Dallas-based contemporary artist working across photography, video, performance, and portraiture. His practice examines gender, power, and the ways identity is constructed and performed, with a focus on genderqueer and feminist perspectives. Acker earned his BFA from the University of Illinois Chicago and his MFA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, including presentations in Berlin, Barcelona, San Francisco, and Vienna.
