Liliana Bloch adds to the ongoing conversation on immigration in the U.S. The exodus from El Salvador reminds her of her past when she immigrated to America in 1999 to leave behind a country plagued with crime and a gap in the quality of life between the rich and poor. Liliana’s gallery adds an important niche scene and invitation for conversation about culture and how the present is dictated by the past. This upcoming fall, Liliana Bloch Gallery will feature, Simón Vega, an El Salvadorian artist who holds an interest in the effects of the Cold War.
